Pray that we do NOT have severe weather.

The forecast has rain and strong winds tomorrow. Badly enough that there is a severe weather flag. I would ask for prayers that weather not damage what has been done by others, and allow us to work, even if we are constrained to indoor work.

Allen's Perspective Sunday a.m.

We're having a great trip so far. I'm writing Sunday morning, as we are having a simple breakfast before going to the hosting church's 8:30 service. (Ironically, we are staying at our namesake church - Westminster Presbyterian of Nashville!) We had a great trip down yesterday, leaving Ann Arbor at 8 AM, making good time on the road, and having lunch in Newport, Kentucky, just across the river from Cincinnati. Then we continued on down through Kentucky and into Tennessee, arriving at the church just about 7 PM (Central Time, which meant that, having lost an hour, our point-to-point travel time was about 12 hours.) Today sounds as though it will be a rather low-key day, as we prepare for the work to begin tomorrow.

Arrived about 8:20 p.m. our time, 7:20 local

Mary is one of our hosts. She showed us around some of the church. It is large! I hope I don't get lost just in the parts she showed us.

We were a happy well fed group.

It was good!

We had a view of the Ohio River. The water marks from recent high water were evident. It was too cool to sit out and watch the ever from their deck.

We looked for lunch by the golden arches

We are off!

Everyone arrived in time for us to leave on time! We had a prayer circle with Pastor Stephen, and loaded up. We are now approaching Ohio.
